Boo Bash on the Plaza – Community Signup

Join us for Boo Bash on the Plaza, a free Halloween event bringing families, local organizations, and community members together for a safe and festive night of trick-or-treating in downtown Lufkin!
This family-friendly celebration will take place on Friday, October 30, 2026 at the Plaza at the Pitser Garrison Convention Center. We invite local businesses, nonprofits, and community groups to help us create a magical night for Lufkin families by hosting treat stations and decorating booths.

Event Highlights:
Trick-or-Treating: Host a booth and hand out candy to costumed kids and families.
Live DJ: Enjoy festive performances and dancing under the lights.
Games & Activities: The Museum of East Texas will lead family-friendly activities throughout the evening.

Community Participation Details:
We are seeking local organizations, businesses, clubs, and community groups to set up themed booths and give away individually wrapped candy or small treats. This is a great opportunity to promote your group, show your Holiday spirit, and take part in a beloved Lufkin tradition.

Please Note:
No items may be sold. This is a community-based, non-commercial event.
Participants must provide their own tents, tables, chairs, decorations, and treats.

Event Date: Friday, October 30, 2026
Event Time: Official event time is 5:00-7:00 PM. Families may begin arriving as early as 4:30 PM, so booths should be ready by 4:30 PM.
Setup Time: Booth setup opens at 1:00 PM
Location: Plaza at the Pitser Garrison Convention Center Plaza, 601 N. Second Street, Lufkin, TX 75901.
Booth Space: First come, first serve. A map of the booth layout will be provided before the event.
