Beds are available in our luxury cabin. Coed Room, Male Room, and Female Room are located on the 2nd Floor, & the Dorm Room beds located on the 3rd Floor.

COT PASSES

Cots are located on the 3rd floor in the dorm room. Due to being on a different floor than the dance floor (2nd floor), this ends up being the quietest of the rooms when the social is in full force!

Pedro & Ana
Pedro Castro and Ana Reis are renowned Brazilian Zouk World champions, Jack and Jill All-Stars, and certified judges with the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council (BZDC).
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Pedro has been training in Contemporary Dance and Classical Ballet since the age of 16, while Ana has been immersed in dance from the age of 5, with a background in Contemporary Dance, Jazz and Classical Ballet. This diverse training has deeply influenced their mastery of Brazilian Zouk, adding a rich level of artistry, expression, and precision to their performances and teaching. With extensive experience teaching at "Alex de Carvalho's Dance School" in Brazil, they have refined an engaging and accesible teaching style for students of all levels.
Now based in the USA, Pedro and Ana are known for their dynamic performances and impressive achievements, including multiple podium finishes in Brazilian Zouk dance competitions, they have earned a reputation for delivering world-class instruction while promoting Brazilian Zouk culture globally. They are highly sought after for their classes and have taught and have taught art premier Brazilian Zouk festivals in Canada, USA, Brazil and Europe.

What makes Zouk Mountain unique?
What makes Zouk Mountain Retreat stand out from the rest?
The host city (Zouk Boise) makes personal efforts to embody as a community the following values not only as guidelines, but as a form of identity as individual dancers who are intentional, safe, and honoring towards everyone we encounter.
Much like the culture behind Brazillian Zouk; perfectionism, striving, and performance are not the main focus, when in comparison to other dance styles and communities. At Zouk Boise, we focus on establishing and maintaining connection, in addition to staying curious, open minded, and optimistic when learning new concepts. Additionally, we understand the importance of fostering healthy and safe learning environments. This is why we refrain from having multiple sources of feedback during class. Thus allowing our students to focus on, practice, and refine skills one at a time without feeling overwhelmed when covering difficult topics in class.
At the heart of a successful event, lies the foundation of the community which supports it. Hosting an event would be useless if there wasn't a group of people who collectively believed in its unified cause. For us, it is the importance of fostering not only community, but one that is healthy. It just so happens that being welcoming and friendly is already something that Boiseans are known for.
Our community is not shy and will go to great lengths to ensure that new and out of state dancers feel seen, welcomed, and are introduced to everyone and have access to the group chat as soon as possible. Additionally, organizing ballet recitals to attend, sharing secondary hobbies such as rock climbing, and hosting board game meet ups are some of the many ways that we foster intentional relationships that are formed outside of classes and dance events.

Tickets are Non-Refundable. However, tickets are transferrable to another attendee that is eligible to stay in the room type purchased for a $15 transfer fee.
